You can enroll speedily and well over the phone or online.  Just adopt your units, and enroll.  If you are paying by Fee-Help, you can dispose this online too.

 - Fewer entry requirements.

For many of the degrees, Oua offers an easier entry pathway than other universities.  While some programs do want a formal application, other degrees such as the Bachelor of Arts do not have any entry restrictions.  This is great for people who have not studied in a while, or who did not quit their formal education.

 - Flexibility

If you begin your degree and then decree to take 6 months off, you can.  If you want to study over the Christmas holidays, you can.  Oua offers the occasion to begin a degree part way straight through the year, without having to apply, wait to receive an offer, and then wait until the following year to begin studying.

 - Your degree is awarded straight through a recognised university

A lot of students worry that their certificate will have the Oua logo on it, or that their degree will not be a 'proper' degree. Oua students graduate straight through a recognised university and get the same certificate as on-campus, directly enrolled students.

 - You can fast-track your degree

For many of the programs offered by Oua, the study periods run back-to-back, all year round.  This means that you can study without taking a break and quit your degree faster.  For example, if you select to study three subjects per study duration without taking a break, you could potentially quit your degree in two years instead of three, or if you study four units per semester, you could quit a three-year degree in 18 months.

Disadvantages

 - The cost.

While many of the units are competitively priced, some units (such as the science units) are much more high-priced than those ready to students who collect a Commonwealth-Supported Place, directly straight through a university.  It is a good idea to work out a rough estimate as to how much your degree will cost altogether and then decree whether it is cheaper to apply for a Commonwealth-Supported Place instead.  an additional one cost that needs to be determined is the cost of an exam invigilator.  If you know person who is suitably qualified, then they may be happy to do it for free, any way professional exam supervision services can be quite expensive.

 - Lack of procedure information

Oua are reportedly trying to enhance the ability and quantity of unit information available, but at the occasion many of the unit descriptions, estimate details and book lists are quite brief.  It is a good idea to caress the Oua representative at the provider university if you would like more information concerning a single unit, they are ordinarily quite helpful.

 - Inconsistency

Unless you are completing all of your units straight through the same provider university, this may be an issue.  Each university has a dissimilar set-up, with some providing all of the procedure content online, whereas others send out a hard copy of all procedure materials, and there is no online interaction at all.  Inconsistency surrounded by tutors and procedure coordinators can also be a problem, with some tutors contribution online tutorials once a week and replying to queries within 24 hours, and others contribution minimal assistance and feedback.

 - Difficulties in planning ahead

Oua is enduringly evolving, which is reflected in the changing availability of units and courses.  Unit availability for the following year is not known until around November, and if you have not registered your degree, procedure buildings changes can occur, which may disrupt study plans.  Register early to ensure that you can complete the degree that you have started!

Overall, Oua offers a great way to complete a degree, particularly if you want flexibility, would like to fast-track, or just want to try a few units for personal interest.  Like all distance education providers, however, it is important to think about whether this type of study is the best selection for your lifestyle and goals.

In 1998 Poet Shamim Azad wrote an essay about her concept on "BIJOY PHOOL" (The Flower of Victory) in Daily Janakantha, Bangladesh. In her story she explained how in the long run this small paper-flower could play a vital role in restoring our pride of independence as well as pay respect to our national heroes of 1971. The article aroused great response from the readers and later they published an improved version of it with some added suggestions. Weekly Janamot UK published the extended version of her article in 2000 and later the article was included in her book "BILETER KOTHA" published by Mawla brothers in 2003. From 2003, she started taking it wherever she was visiting and gave talks on it. In next December, there was overwhelming response from all section of people specially UK. Eeshita Azad and Khadija Rahman designed the flower. Shoyeeb Chamak put it into the website of London Bishwo Shahitto Kendro (www.bsklondon.co.uk), Uttorshuri based in USA and Drishtipat (Human Rights Organisation on Bangladesh) immediately started promoting it. And Bijoy Phool made it's first journey across Atlantic. Suvas Das, the producer in the same Channel S and a young poet Milton Rahman extended their wholehearted support to promote it in her current show SOMOR BIJOY OMOR GOUROB. The 2011 Import and Export Market for Children's Picture, Drawing, or Coloring Books in Australia Overview

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on children's picture, drawing, or coloring books in Australia face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying children's picture, drawing, or coloring books to Australia? How important is Australia compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of children's picture, drawing, or coloring books vary from one country of origin to another in Australia? On the supply side, Australia also exports children's picture, drawing, or coloring books. Which countries receive the most exports from Australia? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for children's picture, drawing, or coloring books in Australia. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for children's picture, drawing, or coloring books for those countries serving Australia via exports, or supplying from Australia via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Australia fits into the world market for imported and exported children's picture, drawing, or coloring books. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Australia in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on both demand- and supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market destination. These shares lead to a volume of import and export values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the share that Australia is likely to receive this year. From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize Australia compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.

BTQ7 Flashback Fitzgerald Inquiry on Qld Government Corruption

BTQ7 Flashback Fitzgerald Inquiry on Qld Government Corruption Video Clips. Duration : 3.37 Mins.

This is from the BTQ7 weekly news segment, Flashback, that deals with Queensland History. From 1968 to 1987, Joh Bjelke-Petersen ruled over a corrupt government and police force. As Qld has a unicameral system, there is no parliamentary process to deal with government excesses. Thus corruption was allowed to run rampant for 2 decades, ruining the lives of many people. Many of these people had files kept on them by the Police Special Branch, for the crimes in the eyes of the government, of being members of trade unions, or even just writing a letter to the newspaper criticizing the government.

Strange Spiral lights in Norway (unbelievable footage)

Strange Spiral lights in Norway (unbelievable footage) Video Clips. Duration : 0.17 Mins.

The Spiral Lights Three times these lights have appeared now. In China, in Norway and in Australia. The official explanation: A rocket spinning out of control. People who believe this story, must be sleeping so hard that they would believe that their head had fallen off - as long as it was written in a newspaper. By the way; where did these "rockets" fall down? For some reason they exploded and/or kept spinning, but never hit the ground. China 1988 www.youtube.com Norway - December 09 2009 www.youtube.com Latest video upload of the Strange Spiral lights in Norway www.youtube.com The official explanation is that the light in Norway was a Russian rocket that exploded. spaceweather.com Australia 5th June 2010 www.youtube.com www.youtube.com Problems with the official explanation: Problem 1: In Australia the spiral light was observed moving all the way from Melbourne to Brisbane, a distance around 900 km. How can a rocket keep spinning out of control, while moving slowly 900 km across the sky, and never fall to the ground? In Norway however the explanation was that it exploded right away -- 2 different (but equally stupid) explanations accounting for the same visual phenomenon.. Hmm Problem 2: An exploding racket does not in any way look like these lights. A spinning rocket would leave a trace of light (burning fuel), which would follow closely behind the rocket. Like this (pic to the left): www.ov-10bronco.net There seems to be no convincing explanation as to how a rocket ...
